Abstract

The authors regret that one of the new species-group names, Sergentomyia (Sintonius) thomsoni ssp. nov. mandarai Krüger, Tateng & Dondji, was not accompanied by the explicit fixation of a holotype, as required by the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature, article 16.4.1. This holotype, however, was designated and had been deposited in the Zoological Museum Hamburg, Germany, under accession number ZMH 5/2019. The collection details are as follows: HOLOTYPE: female; Cameroon, Far North Region, Mofolé Mountain site B, south of Mokolo (10°43’28”N 13°47’29”E), 934 MASL, 03.x.2013, CDC light trap, coll. A. Tateng; permanent microscopic slide code 180418-1. The authors would like to apologize for any inconvenience.
