Corrigendum to “Kinetic roughening transition of ice crystal and its implication during recrystallization” [J. Colloid Interface Sci. 701 (2026) 138792] (Journal of Colloid And Interface Science (2026) 701, (S0021979725021836), (10.1016/j.jcis.2025.138792))

The authors regret that throughout the article the term “kinetic roughening transition” was used instead of “roughening transition”. The transition reported in our work corresponds to the roughening transition of ice observed under near-equilibrium conditions. In the literature, this phenomenon is generally referred to as the roughening transition, whereas the term kinetic roughening transition is typically reserved for roughening phenomena occurring at temperatures below the roughening transition under far-from-equilibrium growth conditions. Therefore, all occurrences of “kinetic roughening transition” in the article should be replaced with “roughening transition”.
