Abstract

In the published article, the author has revised a sentence under the subsection 2.2 “Tree physiology”: The sentence “Aleppo pine phloem is ~10-μm thick and the bark can reach 2–3 cm thick.” Should be read as: “Aleppo pine phloem is ~1 mm thick and the bark can reach 2–3 cm thick.” The authors regret this error.
