Abstract

Detailed measurements of the specific heat and the resistivity of CdCr//2Se//4 were taken in the vicinity of its critical temperature T//c equals 130 degree K. The experimental results confirm the predictions for an energy-like critical behavior of the electronic properties. The results show that the holes in this material are scattered weakly by the spin fluctuations while the electrons propagate in a strongly correlated narrow d-band.
