Abstract
A resistivity anomaly has been observed in the vicinity of the Neel temperature T//N of Fe//xO where x is from 0. 99 to 1. The critical exponents of the temperature derivative of the resistivity were found to be 0. 4 plus or minus 0. 1, both above and below T//N, in accord with the theory of critical spin fluctuations. The present results also permitted an estimation of the holes mobility mu //o in the present material. The values obtained provide new evidence for band type conduction in the transition metal monoxides.
