Abstract
We argue that existing -hypernuclear data do not unambiguously determine the -nuclear spin-orbit splitting p, and suggest that the reactions (K-7,+)7H, (K-13,)13 Be, and (K-13,-)13 C are well suited for a unique determination of p.
