Abstract
Inelastic fully diffractive production cross sections are studied within the framework of a spin model version of RFT for αp 1. Exact results are obtained for very large αp and D = 1; a semiclassical approximation is used to probe all other αp and D = 2. Absorption corrections cause the processes to be peripheral in impact parameter and to exhibit clustering in rapidity. s-channel unitarity constraints are shown to hold and in particular the Finkelstein-Kajantie paradox is resolved for any αp1.
