Discrete solitons in nonlinear waveguide arrays

Abstract

Large scale steering of the spatial soliton beam has been demonstrated experimentally. The results showed that these beams can be obtained through gentle control of the input beam parameters. Also, the physics leading to these effects and their possible application in nonlinear devices have been explained.
