Abstract
In this chapter, we aim to integrate the main insights from the life stories of 11 peace entrepreneurs - Israelis and Palestinians, women and men, religious and secular. Although each story describes a singular and unique narrative, we found six main themes that appear across the different life stories: From Private Pain to Societal Action; Beyond the Dichotomy of Victims and Aggressors; Challenging Physical and Mental Boundaries; The Cost of Founding Peace Projects: Scars, Cracks, and Sources of Strength; An Activist's Journey; Activism in Motion: On Knowing and the Unknown. These themes represent the similar trajectories, resources, challenges, and efforts through which the peace entrepreneurs featured in this book engaged in promoting reconciliation, liberty, and dialogues.
