Abstract
Increase in CO2 concentration from the normal (0.03%) up to 1%, at 21% O2 enhanced germinability of microsclerotia (MS) of Vertidttium dahliae Kleb. Higher CO2 (30%) concentrations inhibited MS germination. Decreasing O2 concentration below 13% decreased MS germination, but even at 1% O2 MS still germinated.
