Abstract

Increase in CO₂ concentration from the normal (0.03%) up to 1%, at 21% O₂ enhanced germinability of microsclerotia (MS) of Vertidttium dahliae Kleb. Higher CO₂ (30%) concentrations inhibited MS germination. Decreasing O₂ concentration below 13% decreased MS germination, but even at 1% O₂ MS still germinated.
