Abstract

(Chemical Equation Presented) A change in direction: The photocurrent generated by CdS nanoparticles attached by means of a double-stranded DNA linker to a gold electrode is reversibly switched between the anodic or cathodic direction (see graphic) depending on the redox state of the methylene blue inter-calator.
