Enhanced light matter interactions in plasmonic-molecular gas hybrid system

Abstract

We demonstrate enhanced light matter interactions between surface plasmon and acetylene. Dispersion and absorption are controlled by the interplay between the molecular line and plasmonic resonance. Fano line shapes are observed, and applications are discussed.
