Abstract

Fluorescent glass films consisting of silica - (3-Glycidyloxypropyl)trimethoxysilane-diurethane siloxane prepared by sol-gel method were incorporated by ethylendiamine tetraacetic acid complex of Europium and co-doped with copper nanoparticles stabilized by polyvinyl pyrrolidone. Increase of steady state fluorescence is explained by scattered light by the nanoparticles.
