Abstract

The optimum spectrum granularity for sub-channel allocation within super-channels is evaluated according to the Nyquist-shaping characteristics of ultra-fine resolution filters. Optimized blocking performance is achieved for 3.125GHz granularity using novel fine resolution technologies.
