Abstract

The ESR spectra of the high T_c superconductor YBa₂Cu₃O₇ show the structure corresponding to the Cu²⁺ (3d⁹, S= 1 2, I= 3 2) ions in an anisotropic environment and in the presence of rapid oscillating distortions.
