Experimental demonstration of high dimensional time-energy entangled two-photon states

Abstract

Two-photon states generated in parametric down-conversion are shown to exhibit Ddimensional discretized energy-time entanglement, where D is possibly as large as half a million. Additionally a three-order-of-magnitude violation of the classical variance product is demonstrated.
