Abstract
Evidence for particle stability of [Formula presented] has been suggested by the BNL-AGS E906 experiment. We report on Faddeev-Yakubovsky calculations for the four-body [Formula presented] system using [Formula presented] interactions which reproduce the observed binding energy of [Formula presented] within a Faddeev calculation for the [Formula presented] subsystem. No [Formula presented] bound state is found over a wide range of [Formula presented] interaction strengths, although the Faddeev equations for a three-body [Formula presented] model of [Formula presented] admit a [Formula presented] bound state for as weak a [Formula presented] interaction strength as required to reproduce [Formula presented].
