Abstract

New few-body calculations of light AA hypernuclei are reviewed in the wake of recent reports on experimental candidates for ^AH and ^He. The self consistency of the AA hypernuclear world data is discussed and the implications for the strength of the AA interaction are pointed out. For stranger systems, novel few-body calculations of light AH hypernuclei, using the strong AH interactions due to the SU(3) extension of the Nijmegen soft-core NSC97 model, are reported and the onset of stability for these hypernuclei is predicted.
