Field enhancement by efficient nano-coupling to plasmonic conical needle

Abstract

Local power concentration of efficiently coupled radially-polarized light in conical plasmonic needle is presented. Radial plasmonic DBR with needle as defect was fabricated for NSOM and nonlinear conversion experiments. Needle length dependent resonances are calculated.
