Abstract

The aim of this study has been the analysis of measured parameters at particular stages of Hucul horses' postnatal development, namely: height at withers, chest's circumference and cannon's circumference. Measurements had been taken from 341 Hucul horses of both sexes. Obtained results were compared with a currently effective biometric pattern for adult Hucul horses. The study results, based on a good deal of material with reference to the horses' various ages and different sexes, demonstrate increasing tendencies of metric traits in comparison with past patterns.
