Fragment Analyses from Khirbet Wadi Ḥamam (Lower Galilee)

Abstract

The excavation conducted in the Khirbet Wadi Hamam synagogue led to the recovery of wall-painting fragments showing an a secco technique, stratigraphically to two different strata. This contribution proposes a chronology of the fresco fragments, including an analysis of the colours of both the the artist’s palette.
