Abstract
We study numerically the propagation and interaction of vacuum cylindrical gravitational waves of both polarization modes. The evolution can be described in terms of two effects: the usual cylindrical reflections and a rotation of the polarization vector of the waves, which appears when the × polarization mode is present.
