Abstract

Acute hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection has very rarely been associated with glomerulonephritis. We describe a case of post-infectious glomerulonephritis associated with acute HBV infection. The kidney disease resolved concomitantly with the hepatitis, and the patient recovered from acute HBV infection.
