Abstract

Expressions are derived for the separate solubility parameters of supercritical water (SCW) due to dispersion, polarity, and hydrogen bonding interactions, in terms of the molar volume of SCW. The molar volumes were calculated from established densities, in turn, and the calculated data are presented as a function of the temperature and the pressure in the ranges relevant to applications of SCW: 400-700 °C and 25-100 MPa.
