Abstract
The crystallographic structure of La₁/₃ NbO₃ perovskite was studied at high pressures using a diamond-anvil cell and synchrotron radiation. High-pressure energy dispersive (EDS) X-ray diffraction and high-pressure angle dispersive (ADS) X-ray diffraction revealed an irreversible amorphization at ~10 GPa. A large change
in the bulk modulus accompanied the high-pressure amorphization.
in the bulk modulus accompanied the high-pressure amorphization.
