High yield singlet - triplet transfer for efficient saturable absorbers

Abstract

Di -(mercury acetate) fluorescein in boric acid glass is shown to be promising as a saturable absorber for phase conjugation using low power CW lasers. Its saturation intensity is less than 1 mW/cm2.
