Abstract

The hyperfine splittings of the 103.2 keV γ-line of ¹⁵³Eu in SmFe₇, Sm₂Co₁₇ have been measured using the Mössbauer effect technique. The magnetic and quadrupole moments of the 103.2 keV level were determined. Conclusion concerning the various contributions to H_eff were drawn.
