Abstract
The issue of social justice has been at the background of career counselling in both theory and practice from the early days of our profession (for reviews, see Fouad, Gerstein, and Toporek, 2006; Hartung and Blustein, 2002; O’Brien, 2001; Pope, Briddick, and Wilson, 2013; Savickas, 2009). As it is commonly understood, social justice refers to the distribution of advantages and disadvantages among individuals within societies.
