Abstract

The development of imaging transmission grating spectrometer having ultrasoft x-ray range for the magnetic fusion experiments was investigated. The spectrometer integrated into an impurity diagnostic package can provide time and space resolved information about radiation losses, Zeff profiles, and particle transport. The spectrometer consists of collimating and space resolving slits, a transmission grating and a two-dimensional imaging USXR detector.
