Abstract

The influence of the stacking sequence and degree of hybridization on the impact strength of carbon fibre/Kevlar 49 fibre/epoxy resin composites was investigated. A positive hybrid effect was noted for a segregated hybrid in which one layer of carbon fibres was sandwiched between two layers of Kevlar. There are 18 references.
