Abstract

In a recent article, Dr. Yaël Ronen considers the declaration on 21 January 2009 by the Palestinian National Authority (PNA) that recognized the Court’s jurisdiction over the events which took place in Gaza in 2008-2009. Dr. Ronen surveys a host of considerations militating both in favor of and against the assumption of jurisdiction by the ICC Prosecutor. The question was raised by the declaration Dr.
