Abstract

Let U be the subalgegra of l^∞(Z) generated by the minimal functions. The collection of U-interpolation sets is identified as the ideal of small subsets of Z. General theorems about the relation between invariant ideals and collections of A-interpolation sets, for subalgebras A of l^∞, are proven.
