Abstract

Intranuclear microspherules were observed in tumor tissue from three cases of bovine ocular squamous cell carcinoma. The particles, 65 to 70 millimicrons in diameter, appeared as clusters of three or more, scattered throughout the nuclei of the tumor cells. Although their biological function in the tumor remains to be elucidated, it is suggested that they may be of viral origin.
