Abstract
The authors describe the separation of the viral polypeptides by polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, and the selective iodination of the viral surface polypeptides by the lactoperoxidase method. The relationship of the membrane polypeptides to hemagglutinin and neuraminidase activities is discussed.
