Abstract

Mössbauer measurements of isomer shifts on the 2⁺ → 0⁺ rotational transitions of ¹⁵⁴Gd and ¹⁵⁸Gd were carried out. The results show that δ〈r²〉₁₅₄ δ〈²〉₁₅₈= 0.7_-0.7^+1.3. This result is compared with existing theoretical values.
