Light-vapor interactions in an atomic cladding micro ring resonator coupled system

Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate the evanescent coupling between a solid core micro ring resonator and rubidium atomic vapor. Highly efficient and effective absorption cross sections as well as distinct Fano lineshapes are observed.
