Abstract

The spectral radiation in the range in a certain range was measured for the medium-charge-state tungsten ions using an electron beam ion trap (EBIT). The relativistic HULLAC code was used for the spectral analysis. EBIT spectra showed the fusion of emission into a narrow band near 50 angstrom for lower ionization states with 4dn ground state configurations. A decrease in charge states shifted the band towards shorter wavelengths.
