Abstract

A report on the generation of low jitter capillary discharge channels triggered by a low-energy laser pulse was presented. The plasma parameters generated under a variety of experimental conditions, were evaluated. Low jitter and the absence of electric noise associated with the ignition process are the main advantages of the proposed method.
