Abstract
Mossbauer studies of the 86.5 keV transition of 155Gd in Gd0.1La0.9Ni5Hx (0 ≤ x ≤ 6.7) and Gd0.1La0.9CO5Hx (0 ≤ x ≤ 4.2) were performed at 4.2 K. Information on local microscopic structure, hyperfine interaction parameters and the ionicity of the hydrogen is obtained.
