Abstract
A kind of viceroyship in the court of al-Ḥīra — was traditionally held by members of Yarbūʿ , among whom was Mālik b. Nuwayra (there is, however, an account according to which he was offered the ridāfa , but rejected it. See D̲j̲arīr . Dīwān , 261-2). Mālik’s clan, the B. T̲h̲aʿlaba b.
