Abstract

We have performed tracer experiments with 26Al to study the transport of aluminum through the cellular structure of wheat. We conclude that there are identifiable differences between strains of wheat that are sensitive to aluminum poisoning and those that are not. Short time and long time behaviours are observed in these initial experiments.
