Abstract

α-Chymotrypsin-induced elevation of intraocular pressure in rabbits was found to be a suitable model for the screening of potential antiglaucoma agents. Pilocarpine shows minimal active concentration at 0.001% and adrenaline at 0.00001%, (-)Δ6-tetrahydrocannabinol at 0.001%.
