Abstract

Classification of a series of 64 minor salivary gland tumors in Israel showed that males and females were equally affected; that there was a higher incidence of benign tumors in females; and that males had more malignant tumors. The palate was the most commonly affected site. The incidence of salivary gland tumors is higher in people of Western origin than in those of Eastern origin.
