Abstract
By EPR/IR LMR (electron paramagnetic resonance/infrared laser magnetic resonance) techniques, the reaction of H//2F//4 plus H//2O//2 has been studied. A chain reaction model is proposed. The rate laws for NH//2 and HO//2 intermediate active centers are treated in the framework of the proposed model. It is established that the proposed mechanism gives a good description of the observed rate laws. It is shown that the N//2F//4 plus H//2O//2 reaction can be used as a source of HO//2 radicals.
