Nano-second regime all optical switching in atomic cladding wave guides

Abstract

We experimentally explore the spectral response of all optical switching in atomic cladding wave guides. As consequence of the fast transiting atoms, the roll-off frequency is enhanced and found to be in the 150MHz regime.
