Abstract
This chapter discusses the “backstage process” of a multicultural research team that set out to inquire about the potential effect of dramatherapy methodologies on the complex relationship between Arab and Jewish students from the Drama Therapy Graduate Programme at Tel‑Hai University (Israel). Beyond the results of the initial research, the inquiry itself evoked a range of emotions and complex scenarios worthy of examination, particularly given the violent events that erupted in the region during the research process. The chapter explores the experiences of the team as researchers, lecturers and one former student, adopting a collaborative autoethnographic perspective.
