Abstract

A study was performed on near infrared polymer nanocrystal light emitting diodes. The properties and design parameters of polymer/nearinfrared-nanocomposite solid solutions for electroluminescence applications were outlined. For the high vol% ratio external electroluminescence efficiency values as high as 0.5% were achieved.
