Abstract

We report the observation of more than three Fermi-Pasta-Ulam-Tsingou recurrences in nonlinear optical wave propagation and experimentally demonstrate that the recurrent behavior is governed by the exact solution of the nonlinear Schrödinger integrable dynamics.
