Abstract

The observation of mutually trapped multiband optical breathers in waveguide arrays was reported. The two beams interfered and formed a complex pattern of intensity along the propagation direction. The breathing period was found to be inversely proportional to the propagation constants difference between the two Floquet-Bloch (FB) beams.
