Abstract
Laser blowoff technique was used to measure the spatial brightness profiles of iron, nickel and germanium in magnetically confined plasmas. Spatially scannable and photometrically calibrated vacuum ultraviolet and X-ray spectrometers were employed for the analysis. Brightness profiles of specific emission lines for a set of similar ohmically heated plasmas were obtained.
